Cycling Kullu to Vyasar

Cycling in the Himalayas is an absolute way to see the Nature real close riding through thick canopies to staggering height gain. Several cycling trips in the valley offer an unbelievable distant view, a grand vista as we soar up in the mountains. Pushing harder to overcome the route would lead one through Apple Orchards wild forests and ancient villages high above situated in the Kullu valley. Cycling and pedaling yourself to the target would realize one with the strength and endurance inside. The trip from Kullu to Vyasar is similarly as beautiful and strenuous as the most of the trips done in the valley. As the valley owns a mountainous terrain, most of the route brings out moderate inclines followed by decent downhill rides. The valley is divided by river Beas into two banks, right and left, here we will be riding initially on the left side of the valley by leaving base early. As the day ride is long enough to attain, the route is downhill and moderate firstly until we cross a bridge and then enter to the right bank highway. The roads are blissfully paved and ride is not tough to negotiate the moderate part. Soon the route turns and joins into the interior road leaving highway back and rises gradually. Now the most awaited stretch of testing the strength comes with moderate climb varying the gradient to less or to steep. The ups and downs keep rolling till Vyasar village, a small village settled remotely in the valley, and after wards the tremendous downhill till Kullu. All the way from the point we had started and passed the ultimate locations offering remarkable prospect of Himalayan Nature to the busy dwellings lower in the city of Kullu. It is so exciting to see the change just in few km’s of ride from hustle and bustle of city to rural unhurried life. The Kullu valley owns a great history and a glorious past of explorers and travelers being visited because of its incredible beauty. So cycling in the Kullu valley must be the liveliest thing to explore when someone visits into the valley.
