It is not an ordinary road trip, the Ladakh bike journey is a dream of all riders. The journey will make you believe that everything falls into place when you really want it to.
Nature will rise from the Earth and one can realize the vastness of nature face to face.
There comes a point in the journey where one can embrace the true spirit of the Himalayas and then it reveals itself to you!
Road Trip to Ladakh is meant for both pro and amateur riders which pushes you to witness new adventures through rugged terrains and unpredictable weather.
The road journey season to Ladakh opens in the month of June, July, August, and September.
The Journey has two popular routes - Ladakh Route and Kargil Route.

Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi to Manali:
You will be given the tickets for your Volvo bus from Delhi to Manali. You have to reach the bus stop, where a coordinator from our team will help getting your seats. Over Night Journey from Delhi to Manali by Volvo (Tickets provided by Himalaya Destination). All of you group members will be in the same bus, so the long 10-12 hour journey will not let you feel alone there.

Day 02: Arrival Manali
We will give you the address of our Manali hotel. You have to reach that destination where our Himalaya Destination team will be waiting for you all. Upon arrival, welcome followed by introduction with the Tour leader, followed by allotment of rooms. Followed by a safety & rescue session by our professionals. In Evening a tour briefing by the group leader and group discussion followed by dinner.

Tips: This day you need a complete rest for acclimatization as from the next day you will be going on an adventure like never before.
 

Day 03: Sarchu
Travel time: - Approx. 7 hours or depends on the group average speed or road condition.
Travel Distance: - Approx. 140 KM

Maximum Altitude   of    this    day:-Baralachala Pass, approx 16000Ft.
Tips:- This is the first day of your ride so always try to drive along with the group in queue. This day you might ride in dirt and sleepy roads so be careful while riding an
Note: You can’t stop more than 10 minutes on Baraclach-la Top. As it effects the group timing and also it may cause your health issues for staying long on a high altitude.

Day 4 : Sarchu to Leh
Travel time: - Approx. 10 To 11 hours or depends on the group Average speed and road conditions.

You should drink at least 4 to 5 liter water every day it will help you to reduce chances of AMS. This day you have to climb three high mountain passes. If you are really an Adventure lover then this day it’s your day. This day you will be having smoothest ride of your whole trip. Every Person need to follow very carefully the guidelines given by our group Leaders as it is testing time for your riding skills and team work today.
If you feel any health problem i.e. headache or vomiting so ask your support team to check your oxygen, they will be giving you every possible medical support you need.

Day 05 : Leh to Nubra :
Travel time: - Approx. 05 To 06 hours or depends on the group Average speed and road conditions.
Travel Distance :- Approx. 130 KM

You should drink at least 4 to 5 liter water every day it will help you to reduce chances of AMS. Don’t tay more than 5 minutes on the khardung-la top, it can cause you severe headache and illness
Starting point Leh: -11,480 ft. from the sea level
Night stay in Nubra: - 10,000 ft. from the sea level

Day 6: Hunder (Nubra Valley)-Turtuk-Hunder (170 kms):
Wake up and travel to Turtuk village. Turtuk is located on the banks of Shyok River. Turtuk was under Pakistan's control until 197 1, after which India gained control of this strategic area. The place is culturally, linguistically and historically different from what you’ve seen till now in your Ladakh trip as it falls under the Gilgit-Baltistan region.Even the landscape is different with dramatic narrow valleys and steep mountains, unlike Central Ladakh and Nubra. Comparatively, situated at a lower altitude than Leh, you’ll see green pastures here that yield fresh produce like apricots and apples. Return to Diskit/Hunder by evening.


Day 07 : Nubra Valley to Pangong:
Travel time: - Approx. 06 To 07 hours or depends on the group Average speed and road conditions.

Day 08 : Pangong To Leh :

Travel time: - Approx. 05 To 06 hours or depends on the group Average speed and road conditions.
Travel Distance: - Approx. 230 KM

Day 09 : Leh to Kargil

You should drink at least 4 to 5 liter water every day it will help you to reduce chances of AMS. Be aware of Blind curves this day, as there are many sharp and blind curves this day. Don’t over speed, follow the speed of marshal (group Leader).

Starting point Leh: - 11,000ft from the sea level
Night stay in Kargil: - 8780 Ft. Above from the sea level.

Day 10 : Kargil  to Srinagar:
Travel time: - Approx. 9 hours or depends on the group Average speed and road conditions.
Travel Distance: - Approx. 210 KM

You should drink at least 4-5 liter water every day it will help you to reduce chances of AMS Be Aware of the rock falling and landslides of Zozilla pass. Maximum speed while crossing Zozilla pass should be 20-30 Km per hr. Avoid  Overtaking at Zozilla. Altitude of start and end point of your

Day 11 : Departure from Srinagar
After morning breakfast drop to airport will be arranged accordingly for group approximate at 10 a.m. Clients are requested to book their return flight after 1 p.m. only.
