Jana waterfall trek is another tourist destination in naggar. It is 12 km. away from naggar. One can reach there by taxi or by bus or by walking. Jana is very big village with dense population. The Jana waterfall is a bit far from the bus stop. The stream runs down from the mountain and forms a beautiful fall flowing over the cliff down to join the stream. The fall is not so big yet beautiful. It is alongside of the local restaurant. It is popular for the local traditional food that is served all year. One can enjoy the delicious food and can do some adventure like flying fox. One can visit the old village too. The village is below the road lines and have to descend between the houses to reach village. In the village you see the traditional wood and stone houses made in a kath kuni style of construction in rural Himalaya. There is temple of Jamlu devta in the village where huge deodar trees are standing high for hundreds of years. These trees are never cut and are meant to be sacred. People in the village live simple life and work in their fields for living. They follow ancient tradition. There are certain fests & occasions like fagli, and the annual festival when people worship their deity and have some leisure from work. People of Jana mostly work in their fields and grow fruits and vegetables. One can reach Jana village on these fests to know peoples culture closely. The village has its own beauty of old houses and lush wild forests with paddy fields. Jana village can be visited almost year, only in winter should be avoided.
